The term "catfight" is dispreferred, particularly when the linked post seems to have been written by a male.

That is the attitude! That best defense is a good offense.

Catherine isnt cheating! Those other psychos are cheating. They probably activated Bots to make it look like Catherine was cheating.

In fact, I'm not even sure it was actually Ogged whipping people into a frenzied mob of voters. That Gans girl is probably behind it all.

catherine could very easily solve this by splitting the sawing the crown in half and sending him one side, along with half of the prize money, to make amends.

In the meantime, I expect a round of firings amongst US Attorneys for their failure to discover this dangerous fraud.

I have been looking thru my Karl Diehl, Stirner, Godwin, Maletesta for a quote with which to celebrate the liberation of the Unfoggedtariat from the chains of procedural liberalism but that damn Adobe is one fucking slow interface. And I am ignorant, and at wit's end. But I cannot describe my satisfaction at discovering my efforts and dreams were not in vain, that I have converted one small but significant corner of the world to criminal anarchism.

Today bots for hots, tomorrow...Thursday!

BTW, in all this hotness-related media frenzy, you've missed the truly important media story of the half-week: the closure of the world's only reliable newspaper. How will we know who the alien endorses in '08?

The smug Pharisees of this Post, Links, and some comments enraged me. Any political philosophy that has Jacob Levy and Henry Farrell genuflecting to a monument of Burke the elder doesn't need me. It really was:"Progressive, not liberal? Why do you hate peace, properity, and freedom?"

"These things you keep
You'd better throw them away
You wanna turn your back
On your soulless days
Once you were tethered
And now you are free
Once you were tethered
Well now you are free
That was the river
This is the sea!"

Kitsch is good politics. Now that the seed has been sown in DC, perhaps we could give just a little thought to what an America with zero faith in the electoral process might look like, and what steps we could take toward that enlightened utopia?

How did last night feel? Just a little bit...free?

Cassettes, vinyl, 8 tracks....Ah, the good old days. I was trying to explain 8 tracks to my son. For the youngsters here, 8 tracks were practically the size of a VHS tape (do you even remember those??!?!) and had very little storage capacity.

Did I mentioned that I just received approx 400 gigs of high quality music? (legally).

Holy crap, are you archiving for someone or is that a misplaced decimal? Even as uncompressed .wav files, that's about 800-1000 albums (depending on length).

The whole concept of 8-tracks sounds absolutely horrible. An album is split into 4 parts? And the end of one of the sides routinely happens in the middle of a song?

I guess it was better than nothing since it was the only option for playing albums in one's car.

It's just amazing how cassettes have disappeared. When I started buying music ~12 years ago the music store had every album on both CD and cassette. I bought the cassettes because they were cheaper. Now there's literally like 30 cassettes in the whole place, mostly things like Perry Como, the Gatlin Brothers and Billboard Pop Hits of 1966. There's more vinyl in even a mainstream store than cassettes now.

Dana Priest is one of the least corrupt members of the mainstream media, Emerson should be pushing hard for her. Here's a right wing web site talking about her "troubling" and "far left" political connections:
