I'm very excited for unfoggedy-con.
Apostropher's just going to have to step up with the massive backlog of horrendously disgusting links he's got ready for just such an emergency.
If you had asked me whether balls could form a camel toe, I would have answered: "Surely, no." Now...
I see the pattern. I am immune, for now at least.
8: Please tell me that sickcycles man won't be at UnfoggeDCon.
TRON guy is much too big-time for the likes of us. He's all up in some Jimmy Kimmel and shit.
12: nice. I found it on page 2 of the link in 4.
OT: I posted this on an older thread, but I'm moving it here to this sort of open thread in hopes of getting an answer. I keep meaning to ask my dr. this when I see him, but always forget. So now I turn to unfogged:
I have a cold now, too. Does anyone know if there's any health benefit to (a) letting the cold run its course w/o otc drugs as opposed to (b) using otc drugs to reduce symptoms, e.g., runny nose? Thanks!
I think the consensus was that you should try to have as much sex as possible with Lindsay Lohan.
14- That's fairly common with contextual advertising. If you're reading a story about a teacher's aide, the google bot will toss up ads about teaching, even if the main story is about an aide molesting a student.
16: I'll give it a shot, but I doubt I'll be able to get with Lohan in time to help me. Maybe someone else will do in her stead.
Surely you people know that man-cametoe is properly referred to as "moose-knuckle."
www.metblogs.com has blogs from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. If you haven't overdosed on news by now...
Does anyone know if there's any health benefit to (a) letting the cold run its course w/o otc drugs as opposed to (b) using otc drugs to reduce symptoms, e.g., runny nose?
I have no credentials whatsoever, but here's the debate as I understand it:
Most things we call "colds" are viruses. A virus cannot be killed; it can only be overcome. Your immune system has to overcome it. Treating the symptoms while your immune system is battling the intruder can do one of two things: a) make you feel temporarily better, and b) lengthen the duration of the illness, because your body is now also working to overcome the effects of the medication.
For example: Because viruses have evolved to live at our body temperatures, our body tries to get rid of them by raising the temperature (i.e., running a fever). So if you take a fever-reducing medicine, you're impeding your body's attempts to get well.
Ned is probably much better informed.
Anti-fever medicine seems to be bad news for iguanas. I think we would notice if it killed humans to the same extent though.
I just picked out my outfit for Saturday.
What are you going to wear, Heebie?
I had a big debate between wearing a dress or not, but in the end I'm wearing a sweater and jeans. But it's a really great sweater.
What are you guys going to wear?
I'm wearing pants, because they're easier to cram into my tiny suitcase. I don't want to bring a big bag and crowd up Ficke's place. If I do bring the bigger bag, it's only because I haven't figured out how to carry my sleeping bag. Right now, it's looking like the laundry bag is the only option, so stuffing it in the slightly bigger suitcase might work better.
Black leather pants so I look like Stanley in his Jim Morrison stage.
Or jeans.
I had a big debate between wearing a dress or not, but in the end I'm wearing a sweater and jeans. But it's a really great sweater.
Wearing a dress: eventually uncomfortable. Go for comfort. Or just, you know, bring 3 changes of clothes, and change throughout the evening.
I'm going dressed as myself. The hipster costume idea died of ridicule. There are no short chunky hipsters. I'd have to bring a distorting mirror with me to get the full effect.
In all seriousness, people are not dressing up? I shouldnt wear a suit and tie? The women arent wearing dresses? So we will not be doing any latin dancing?
Bummer.
It does feel so much like a New Year's party that I might in fact also bring a dress, to leave my options open. I think Jammies is wearing a tie.
I'll probably wear a casual dress, which I find much more comfortable than jeans.
An awesome, awesome tie that he picked out at Goodwill last week.
It is Saturday night. People are coming from far away. In honor of Jammies, men should wear ties and women should wear dresses that shimmer or swing
You guys are not helping. I'll have you know that I actually went shopping today, in honor of the fact that my closet apparently contains 92% business casual and 8% wedding-appropriate attire. And I hate shopping.
in honor of s/b in resigned recognition of
Wear wedding-appropriate attire Witt.
Someone might want to tie the knot!
Will, stop being so shameless. You should not be using this party to recruit new clients.
You can play at the wedding and the divorce party Stanley.
All the women should wear bridesmaids' gowns, and then we can vote on whose dress is the most hideous. Dyed-to-match pumps strictly optional, of course.
I'm great at that game. Mint with red wine stain? Or maroon?
In all seriousness, people are not dressing up? I shouldnt wear a suit and tie? The women arent wearing dresses? So we will not be doing any latin dancing?
Seriously? I am wearing a cross between what I wear every day, and what I wear when I dress up: a weird-looking long sweepy skirt. Look for the woman in the weird-looking long sweepy skirt, with her hair up. She always looks like that, with the dangly earrings. Go figure.
parsimon, that sound perfect for a party.
I'm wearing pants right now.
You mean you didn't give that up the minute you got tenure? Dude, you're missing out on half the benefits of an academic career.
I've always pictured Gonerill in a plush robe.
"plush robe" s/b "two wetsuits"
46: I've got a little number in cornflower blue. It's made of nylon acetate or something similarly scratchy, and it has enormous puffed sleeves.
I've always pictured Gonerill in basic black, with a Roman collar.
Here's a picture of me, if you must know.
I haven't decided what to wear for my classic "ccmc" the evening of UnfoggeDCon.
If you dont wear a bridemaid dress or a suit and tie, you should at least walk like this for the party:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqhlQfXUk7w
FYI part the second: looks like we're getting a keg.
And Labs is so pissed Ogged's not coming.
I was going to wear a dress, but if it doesn't come in the mail I guess I won't. Although I suppose I could still wear a skirt.
The likelihood that I will be wearing black is, like, 90%.
I'll bring some wine.
Remember: It doesn't count as "bringing" when you drink the whole bottle beforehand.
I had to plan my outfit 3 weeks ago. I'm wearing a skirt. It's my favourite. I might buy a new top, but I have one I like with me. The pics from last year made everyone look very dressed up.
It doesn't count as "bringing" when you drink the whole bottle beforehand.
That's good to know. Thanks!
I was informed by my employer that the office will be closed on New Year's Eve. This means that I don't have to fly into Chicago at 8 am on Monday morning and go straight to work after a weekend of debauchery, as I was planning to do. This pleases me greatly.
62: I reckon she's amenable to that.
You can also talk to my wine-making cob-logger about your wine.
I'll be wearing a tie... and NOTHING ELSE.
Is there an offie handy to the Flophouse? You can buy alcohol easily in Washington, can't you? Not like here where it's the Beer Store or the LCBO if you want the hard stuff. (Eye-rolling aplenty.)
Is he bringing any wine?
Did Emerson get some of Jesus' wine?
He is indeed bringing wine. From Virginia and/or Oregon.
asilon: I had to look up "offie." Yes, plenty of booze to be bought in DC. I'm sure Becks or another flophouser could point you to a nearby liquor/beer/wine store.
Will, Emerson isn't that old, and besides, Cana is even farther away than Fargo.
Also, CharleyCarp contributed a WHOLE CASE of wine (again!). He dropped it off this afternoon. Many huzzahs in his direction!
The pics from last year made everyone look very dressed up.
Yeah, definitely. I briefly toyed with the notion of wearing something dressy, but just as quickly abandoned the idea out of sheer laziness.
So, IA, Parsimon - who else was wanting to eat before the party? Shall we arrange something, or go to PGD's and hope he feeds us sufficiently? I'm planning to meet up with the artlovers at the Hirshorn (if I can work out where the Bunhead place is!) - will either of you be there to make plans with or should we do it before we all leave home? I think I'll be unable to communicate (other than face-to-face) once I leave here on Saturday morning.
Disappearing comment a moment ago, something like:
Someone take care of booking me a cab home in advance. Don't tempt me to actually party, you people.
72:
Excellent. Please redact my offer to bring wine.
asilon, I was figuring to go to PGD's, but he may have his hands full. The Hirshhorn thing is early afternoon, I think. I'm not getting in to town until 3 or 4, too late for that, and will only be reachable via phone once I get in. I'll email.
Asilon, do you still have my cell phone number and/or the name I go by in real life? I'm staying at the Palomar (202-448-1800). I'd be interested in dinner before the party.
looks like we're getting a keg.
Of what?
The pics from last year made everyone look very dressed up.
I was in jeans and a sweater. The sweater got way too hot pretty early in the evening.
Everyone should just show up at the Palomar's wine happy hour and ask strangers, "Who wants to sex Mutombo?"
The sweater got way too hot pretty early in the evening.
Definitely. I'm eschewing the (lovely horsey) sweater this year.
The sweater got way too hot pretty early in the evening.
Apo=Jimbo Jones. "Hey baby, my shirt's chaffing me. Mind if I take it off?"
I'm wearing a dress. Buck tried to talk me into wearing the sequined Motown-backup-singer-type dress, but failed. But a dress.
There Will Be Keg Stands
(especially when those Reason homies show up)
82: That's nice, LB. What will you be wearing this weekend?
IA, Can any old person call you, just to chat?
I'm wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Rah may shame me into putting on an untucked button-up over it so there's a collar somewhere but the collar will be wrinkled and awful. I do not clean up well.
Rah is always better dressed and more graceful than I am so, y'know, he can be the diplomat for both of us.
Rah is always better dressed and more graceful than I am
But you're taller.
Just jeans? I was hoping for pants that were somehow notably, you know, Manly. Camo or something.
I do have a pair of camo pants but they're a bit thin for December. They do have lots of fun pockets, though!
But you're taller.
This is true. My collar shame will be on even greater display.
fun pockets
Anyone is looking for a new pseud? I just found one.
Oh, shit, we're leaving tomorrow. I should start trying to figure out where my luggage is.
85: Well, I don't accept calls from representatives of collection agencies, of course. But otherwise, yeah sure.
Also wearing a dress! And fancy turquoise dancing shoes.
I'll be in my stockinged feet - I only have one pair of shoes with me, and they're walking boots. Good for playing in the snow, no good for dancing. (Apart from perhaps a mosh pit ... are we having a mosh pit?)
I will be wearing jeans and a pink dress shirt.
if it helps, last year was a mix of everything between way dressed down to dressy. i wore a dress for the first part of the evening but then got sufficiently sloshed that i actually switched into a tank top, gym shorts and sneakers (literally) so as to better dance (and take off labs' and w-lfs-n's shirts with my teeth, etc). everybody should wear what they feel comfortable in; both dressing down and dressing up is encouraged. i'll probably wear jeans this year...
What does it say on the invitation?
What does it say on the invitation?
"Natural glamour".
If I were to go, which I most certainly am not going to, I would wear corduroy pants and my GATE summer school T shirt from fifth grade. Just so you know what you're missing.
I would wear corduroy pants and my GATE summer school T shirt from fifth grade
Just so you know what you're missing how to recognize me at the next Boston meetup.
I'll probably be wearing jeans and a hoodie. At home, 2000 miles from Unfoggedcon. Wah.
100, no.
But thanks for thinking of me!
I use this place more as a way to say things I would be embarrassed to say to people I know in person. So if I knew you in person it would queer the deal.
Will: Alas, Jesus tried to hand off the wine, I had it right in my hand, but he couldn't find a suitable box, my checked luggage is a soft bag, and as I understand you can't carry-on a wine bottle. He says email him and he will get it to you.
I hate you people, and all the fun you'll be having.
106: He couldn't have just given you a bottle of water?
While all of you assholes are partying, I'll be playing bridge with my sweet, sweet 88-year-old grandma, who drops her cards all the time and forgets when it's her turn.
107: We'll each have 5% less fun and pour some out, in remembrance of you and JM.
We'll each have 5% less fun and pour some out, in remembrance of you and JM.
Not ogged, though. We'll drink to forget him.
I'm listening to extremely danceable 70-year-old blues music, in honor of Ogged.
in remembrance of [Chopper] and JM.
Hmph.
We'll drink to forget you too, Magpie.
I can drink and pour for everyone, Magpie. Maybe I should bring a list.
I have to get up early to catch my flight, so I'm going to bed. Good night, everyone. I'll see (many of) you in person.
OK, where's "Bunshaft's Bunker", so I can be there Saturday at 1?
And any recommendations of places for dinner that are either in the Dupont Circle/Scott Circle/Flophouse neighbourhoods, or that tourists might enjoy?
74- Yes, agreed to previously. I gave apo my cell phone because he seemed like a responsible one, I'll send it to you too. I won't be at the art tours, I'm getting in to BWI around 2:30 so in DC maybe around 4pm?
If there is already an excess of alcohol (and liquids are hard to fly with anyway) is there anything else that needs bringing? Some nice cheese or priscuitto imported via Formaggio Cambridge?
Pleated pants are banned here, right?
Pleated pants are banned here, right?
Last year w-lfs-n ended the night both pleading and panting.
117, 118: I think parsimon is also interested in dinner. She has my cell number, but I don't have hers, so I hope she'll call.
Labs emailed before he took off for APA and said he'd like to get dinner before the party. I'm going to try to meet up with folks at the Hirshhorn, and figured we'd work it out from there.
I gave apo my cell phone because he seemed like a responsible one
That's a first.
Man, this weekend is Unfogged-tastic. I'm off to work, then to see y'all in Chicago, then home, sleep, on a plane to DC. Jaysus.
Also, I want to warn you all in advance that I may smell funny. I went down last night to do a massive load of laundry ('cause, hey, I just got back from another trip) and found that every single one of the machines, all four washers and four dryers, had the coin thingies jammed up. Well actually, three washers were, and then when I put my coins in the fourth to do a load, it jammed up.
Very bizarre. The machines are all fairly new. I can't for the fucking life of me figure out what is going on. Anyone got hypotheses?
Anyone got hypotheses?
Chocolate coins?
Parsimon has emailed me. I'll be at the Hirshhorn (although - Bunshaft's Bunker??? Am I just going to have to wander about looking for a ginger mullet?) too and so we can get in touch with those who won't be after that.
Off out to Niagara Falls for the day now - will check plans later tonight.
[Gordon] Bunshatf's Bunker is the Hirshhorn. Bunshaft was the lead architect.
Bunshaft was the lead architect
At the Mineshaft.
At the Mineshaft.
Of course. Just look at the the museum from above and you know he was in on the joke.
121- That was more responsible in the causing to happen sense than in the maturity sense. As in a cow was responsible for burning down Chicago.
While all of you assholes are partying, I'll be
... flying from Tampa to Dayton. But tipple for me as well.
Do you people like those orange creamsicles that you used to have when you were kids?
Cause if so, I'll be bringing a little something something.
131: ooh I love those cocktails.
because [Apo] seemed like a responsibleculpable one
124: Parsimon has emailed me. I'll be at the Hirshhorn (although - Bunshaft's Bunker??? Am I just going to have to wander about looking for a ginger mullet?) too and so we can get in touch with those who won't be after that.
Cellphone number sent to IA. I'm getting in to the hotel in Dupont Circle between 3 and 4. Not going to the Hirshhorn -- I'm not sure when people will be finishing up there.
Knecht and Fleur sent us good beer! Woo! I love getting random things in the mail from Internet people.
My dress just arrived! Thank you, FedEx man!
Does this mean you won't smell funny after all?
so the plan is still 6 pm tonight at brickskeller, right? upstairs? if you don't know what i look like, here you go: http://flickr.com/photos/medildo/1744753455/
i will most likely still be hiding behind a huge mug of beer.
Woo-hoo! I'm here, checked into the hotel, and everything. Off to do geeky tourist things...see (many of) y'all tonight.
How late are people planning to be at the brickskeller?
Parsimon, I got your number. Thanks!
141: i can't stay real late at the brickskeller as i've got a big run on saturday morning, but i imagine i'll be there till 7 or 8, and other folks will probably be there longer. 9 or 10?
I was planning on going to the brickseller after dinner with my family, so I would be getting there around 8, and then staying for as long as people are around. Hopefully I won't miss everyone.
This is what I look like, if people want to avoid me.
144: What do you look like if people don't want to avoid you?
</w-lfs-n>
74, 77, etc.: I have had an open invite to feed people at my place before the party for quite a while, but I'm not sure if this is working out. I've had 7-8 people express interest at various times, but as of now I have only one recent firm confirmation. I'm thinking I should maybe cancel, since buying stuff and setting up and having people not show up would be a drag.
I've linked my email address above. Anyone who wants to either come over to my place beforehand email me, or else if not then feel free to email me with an invite to whatever other dinner people are going to.
One factor is that my place is on Capitol Hill, so it is a metro or cab ride to the flophouse.
I'm just confused now.
Also, "Atonement" SUCKS. It might be the worst movie I ever saw. But it's so bad it's kind of funny, so that's something.
Can I complain here that it's pissing sheets of ice here in Chicago and the meetup tonight is like 1,000 miles away from the convention? Seriously, y'all, if it is really icy out, I'm not coming. I will be sad about it, but I am stressed out in ten thousand ways about a fuck-up I made in my flight schedule for tomorrow and may just totally have to ditch.
Oh no! AWB, I really hope you don't have to ditch.
I hope not, too, IA. I'm just exhausted and poor and pressed for time and it's 15 miles away in the icy rain. It's sort of freaking me out.
148: I'm surprised that you would pass up such a unique opportunity to have an Authentic Chicago Experience.
I'm personally glad that I'll have a chance to show off my Midwestern Fortitude by trudging through the snow with inadequate protection from the cold.
150: I'm sure we can take up a collection to pay for your cab.
Aww, AWB! The main roads are still fine, though we may want to minimize walking tonight.
If I can drag my hungover ass to the meetup tonight after this hellish day at work, you should be able to make it.
Invisible Adjunct, are you coming?
146: PGD, I expect we still love ya -- come to whatever other dinner people are having (which is entirely unclear, you realize). I'll be in touch.
154: To tonight's meetup, do you mean? I don't know. I don't get into DC until about 9:30. So I probably couldn't get there before 10:30 or so, at which point perhaps everyone will have gone home. But my hotel seems to be very near the brickskeller.
I'll have a car, so that if you can get there it'll be easy and cheap to get you back. Or I could pick you up, if that'll help you decide.
PGD, check your email.
145: I look the same, but less lonely.
B's gone and texted a snow delay, I know not from where. In her absence here's a little somptin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RS40ak2L-M
156: Ah, crossed wires. AWB's talking about possibly ditching the dinner in Chicago tonight. Which she won't. Because she's cooler than that.
I really doubt she's considering ditching Unfoggidy II: The Reckoning.
That woman should cut her nails.
161: I am cool if I'm in a good mood and not stressed out about missing basically everything I came here to do professionally. I am seriously uncool otherwise. I will try to get cool by 9pm, but this may be impossible. It is so, so far to the meetup.
AWB, if you want, I will totally come meet you downtown and we can take a cab together. You could have a personal Chicago native escort!
Ok, I'm not a native, but you know what I mean. I live here.
We are also available to cab with AWB.
It's not icy though, it's slushy. Not the same! The weather report says it's staying above freezing all night and also should stop precipitating around 9 or 10 pm. Also I just bought a slush-deflecting umbrella that I will happily share.
Also, the weather's supposed to clear up around 6 pm.
Oh, even earlier than I thought, super. AWB, we will be paying for a cab to and from where you are staying anyhow, so it is no extra cost to us if you join us.
Wait, I could be wrong. My info might be out of date. But the snow advisory is only until 6 pm.
Thanks, everyone. I will probably recover and come with RFTS and SO after the 7:15-8:30 panel gets out (Is that when you're going? I'll be coming from the Sheraton, probably back at the 71 by 8:45). But I'll call you guys either way. It's not really the cost; it's the time, which I haven't spent enough of doing what I'm here to do. I just found out my MA director, who I haven't seen in five years, is here, and I'm desperately hoping to catch up with him, etc. Basically, I'm having a little freak-out about how I'm spending the little time I have here.
Sounds good. I certainly understand all those stresses. Okay, y'all, wish me luck at my interview!
Good luck, RFTS!! You'll be great!
OT: Here's some weird thinking for you: "Mike Huckabee used the volatile situation in Pakistan Friday to make an argument or building a fence on the American border with Mexico."
The subtext the Kate Seeley article linked to above is "We have determined that Huckabee is a serious threat to the country club Republican establishment, and are now determined to let the world know what an idiot he is.
So the plan is Brickskeller at 6? I may have to leave early due a potential date, and I may be a little late in showing up, but I'll try to make it there.
I won't be there until 7 ish.
175- He's showing himself to be the idiot on foreign policy many thought he was. A couple of weeks ago, an aide said that Huckabee is uniquely qualified to deal with 'radical Islamists' because of his own religious background.
I think I'm going to go ahead and say I'm out of the Chicago meetup; there's just way too much I need to do here tonight. Kotsko, Snarkout, and RFTS have my number, though, so if you go out after dinner, give me a call!
I just printed directions to the Flophouse, even after the ex bitched me out and tried to back out of our deal for her to have the kids. The gf and I might make it there after all.
Although I did almost sneeze earlier and stubbed my toe, so I might be too ill to drive to DC.
Plus, it might be cold in DC. And traffic is so bad.
And I am worried about those Boston people. Sifu, Blume, Bostongirl.....they seem scary and will probably want us to root for the Patriots.
Sifu, Blume, Bostongirl.....they seem scary
No egg nog for Will!
i hate to pull an ogged, but i may have to skip brickskeller tonight. i've got a sore throat and can't skip this run tomorrow morning (7 miles for half-marathon training). plus i want to be well-rested for the party. not sure yet, though...however if anybody needs anything, please email me at pablohoney at gmail dot com.
run tomorrow morning (7 miles for half-marathon training)
seems to contradict
i want to be well-rested for the party
186 seems ultimately... weak. the antithesis of wizard cocksucker. like seriously, i have to do a 2.75 hours bike ride tomorrow followed up with a 15 minute run. and i'm still going to brickskeller. and i rode my bike wednesday when it was raining and 40 degrees out. so suck it up catherine.
ogged, this is why i ironman. because now i can make peoples excuses look lame.
If this is an open thread, then I'm posting a link to this catastrofuck.
Have fun y'all - a couple of recs:
In the Dupont area, keep a lookout for the Albanian embassy (just west of Connecticut & Florida on S St.) - the building is everything you would hope the Albanian embassy would be.
For those with access to a car and the need for some outdoor time - the Great Falls of the Potomac is up there with the Palisades as a great natural feature close by an East Coast metropolis. With some recent rains and snowmelt upstream, it should be running at a decent level. (I recommend the Maryland side - about 15 miles out of town.)
190 -- I second the recommendation re Great Falls. If I pop by the B'skeller in half an hour, will there be anyone I recognize?
I am in New York near Columbia and staying in, because my host out to meet his college buddies who are in town, and I need to be out the door by 8.
mrh and I are leaving New York around 9 which means that we should roll into DC around 1 or 2. He's planning to drop me off and Matt F's and then go take a nap. Would anyone be up for a snack?
Yeah, well it probably doesn't think much of you either.
I should report that I had some egg nog left over in the fridge and pulled it out tonight while I was making dinner. It was very, very strong. I mixed it 50/50 with store bought and it was still very, very strong. Apparently I failed to recognize this whilst quaffing enthusiastically on Christmas Eve...
Probably not. But, wine does enjoy me and I enjoy it.
The question is whether I really want to drive back to Richmond after UnfoggedDCon.
Those interested in dining in the Dupont Circle area tomorrow around 5 or 5:30, ideas. Okay, one.
A friend highly recommends this; I can't tell whether they have a liquor license. Frankly, just trying to get something out there, 'cause I'm offline as of noon or so tomorrow.
Actually I went to a place roughly across the street from Teaism not long ago that offered, among other things, nice gourmet pizzas and a tasty (truly, we devoured every speck), and generous, crostini-stylee appetizer with fresh salsa and, um other stuff. Casual and spacious place, glass walls. Couldn't tell you the name of it, though.
The question is whether I really want to drive back to Richmond after UnfoggedDCon.
That's just crazy talk.
Got to be back by 8am for the kids. So pick the poison.
I'll send my brother to get your kids. He lives in the museum district now, and he's very good with children. Though, he does curse like a sailor. Is that a problem?
Or Double Kobe. Double Kobe can get your kids.
196: that sounds like Sette.
Fairly sure Teaism does not serve alcohol.
I'm heading out to steel my liver for tomorrow night. Have fun, all.
pick your poison
I'd pick the two hours of sleep and hit the road by 6:00 am poison myself.
196: that sounds like Sette.
You are correct! I'm amazed. Sette Osteria
That write-up is hysterical, but the place was good for trying to meet up with people, and the bruschetta with arugula and cherry tomatoes was fantastic.
Or alternatively, you know, Indian food. Or chili.
parsimon, I just e-mailed you my cell phone. Please call if you and IA (or others) find a casual place to grab a bite to eat.
The Capitol Steps are even less funny than this thread. Why can't I muster the gumption to get up and turn off the goddamn radio?
210 gets it right. There are very few things that I can say with 100% confidence that if someone enjoys them, I will lose all respect for that person, but the Capitol Steps is one of those things.
Teaism looks good, Sette looks good, hopefully this will be easy. So far an early evening meal is looking like it will be for me, parsimon, IA, SP, apo, FL, BG. I think. If anyone else wants a ring about where we'll be, do shout.
And will - yeah, I'd got for the two hours' sleep option too. See you tomorrow.
In the museum district? That is where we live.
I'm Stanley's brother!??!?!?
In the museum district? That is where we live.
I'm Stanley's brother!??!?!?
In the museum district? That is where we live.
I'm Stanley's brother!??!?!?
Must be- if you say it 3 times it's true.
I'm coming to unfoggedycon! Woo-hoo! I just boarded a flight to Dulles. It all came together very last minute. Fleur wanted very badly to come, but she is sick and could not travel. God bless her, she gave me leave to attend on my own while she stays with the children. I am indebted to her beyond measure.
