What about if we want to come watch you swim? Hmm?
But the management thanks you for your interest.
This would be the perfect time to beta-test the OggedCam, which could be strapped to your head for the duration.
I seriously doubt that I, personally, am going to drive that far just to watch you swim. Much as I would love to see you semi-naked. But, you know, w-lfs-n could go and take pictures.
6 - Yeah, I used one on a mountain bike descent once.
Why don't you just post a request for Wet Half-Naked Meetup and be done with it?
I thought that the funny always trumped authorial intent.
Now you get to tell me that I'm not funny.
Why don't you just post a request for Wet Half-Naked Meetup and be done with it?
Tends to attract the wrong element, if you know what I mean.

Following Sir Kraab's sage counsel, I wanted to point y'all to a wee favor I'm asking in another thread.

From kitchen to conception in ten words. I like it.
Ogged,
Since you live in the Bay Area, what are the best places to swim? I mean, decent pools, no puddles of slime and mold everywhere, infrastructure kept up, etc?
Oh, and good for you, Ogged! It is about time.
I move to SF in May and second Chet's question.
I've heard that the Koret center at USF has a very nice pool. I've swum at a couple of SF municipal pools that were pretty gross, truth be told. There's a nice pool in Berkeley, though I can't remember the name, and there's a nice pool in Burlingame that's sometimes set up for long course. Some private clubs will have nice pools, but you'll just have to do a tour to be sure; that's how I found the place I swim. And a lot depends on where in the Bay Area you are. The pool in Berkeley doesn't do you any good if you live in Sunnyvale.
Rinconada pool in Palo Alto is pretty nice. Not a great locker room, but a nice pool in a pretty park.
Are you thinking of the pool at the Claremont Hotel? Because that's over the border in Oakland.
Dwight Derby/Clark Kerr (the name of the dorm in the area) has a pool in the Berkeley hills with a nice view. Not necessarily the same thing as a nice pool. Strawberry Canyon also has a couple of pools. I suppose the lower, public one, could be potentially nice, but it was opaque most of the times I swam there. The upper pool, used by masters swimmers last I heard, is supposedly nicer.

I assumed some inkling of what this might refer to would occur to me eventually, but I remain clueless.
(plus there is a completely gratuitous transformation in my chain, SLID can go right to SLIM, so one less word.)
