Well, I think this definitively proves that you're not jwz, w-lfs-n.
i like the prices best, i thought all the concerts cost up from 60 and more like 120-30, but maybe those are some different kind of concerts
I was one of the lead developers on XEmacs from 1999 to 2002, though.
Oddly, by paying a significantly lower ticket price you can get much better, more interesting music. But you have to be ready for anything, because it will often be a gamble, and you may not like what you get.
I went to Yoshi's in San Francisco for the first time this week to see Hank Jones. Yoshi's is really well laid out for concerts. I want to take my kids there for one of the Sunday matinees before that place inevitably closes.
i wish there are similar lists in NY, NJ area, conveniently compiled
sure there are, just i don't know of them, of course
John Zorn is at Yoshi's for a week in March but the tickets are all hella spendy.
6: For NYC, http://www.wfmu.org/arbguide.php
Just go to the Stone every night in NYC; you're bound to do pretty well.
No one said it is closing, only that it inevitably will.
Yoshi's in Oakland has thus far staved off the inevitable for at least a decade, so probably no need to panic just yet.
13: Or so the mallards would have you believe.
